1. Code & Key Privacy

BhaiCode is a developer tool that runs locally in your terminal. We operate under a strict **Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)** model. Your API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, etc.) are stored locally on your machine and are never transmitted to BhaiCode servers.

2. Data Retention & Processing

We do not log or store the code snippets, directories, or prompts you send to third-party AI providers via BhaiCode. All requests are routed directly to the respective API endpoints from your local machine.

3. Analytics & Telemetry

To improve the CLI tool experience, BhaiCode may collect minimal, anonymous usage metrics (e.g., command execution success rates, CLI version checks). You can opt-out of telemetry at any time by setting the environment variable BHAICODE_TELEMETRY=0.

4. Third-Party Services

Since BhaiCode connects to third-party AI providers, your interactions are subject to the privacy policies of those providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI). We encourage you to review their policies to understand how they process your data.
